Our 2^nd Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday September 1, 2010 registration starts at 10AM for a noon Scramble at Oak Mount Green in Hampstead, Maryland in partnership with Metro Crime Stoppers. Additional information is available on our website  www.ASISBaltimore.com  or www.MetroCrimeStoppers.net  we are in need of sponsors, gift donations and players. Please join us for this tremendous fundraiser. We plan to make this year’s tournament the best ever! The proceeds realized from this event will help Metro Crime Stopper’s in motivating citizens to call the tip line with information about criminal activity and possibly rewarding them for their efforts. Metro Crime Stopper’s has spent the last year helping citizens take CRIMINALS of our community streets. ASIS Baltimore Chapter will continue to educate and serve the community. Since our tournament last year ASIS Baltimore Chapter has sponsored a Gang Summit with Baltimore County Police and Metro Crime Stopper’s,  we have awarded over $3,000 in scholarships, awarded almost $3,000 to Security & Police Officers in the local community, sponsored and presented two (2) well attended (over 350 people) Workplace Violence Workshops and given over $3,500 to local charities. The money we raise in the community stays in the local community.

September 14^th, 2010 meeting will be held at T. Rowe Price in Owings Mills and our Guest Speaker will be Ray Hanna from the Department of Homeland Security. The meeting will start with networking at 11:30AM – NOTE we are still looking for a SPONSOR for this event – Much more information to follow. Annual Dues reminders for 2010 will be sent out on September 15, 2010 via email.

In October, we will not be having a monthly meeting as it would conflict with the National Convention in Dallas. We are considering hosting a Happy Hour in Dallas. Further information to follow.

November brings our annual election and we are working on a very special speaker for this meeting.
