Dear ASIS Member:

 

The Baltimore and Maryland Suburban Chapters of ASIS will be hosting an online CPP Study Group and Review. The Study Group will last eight (8) weeks beginning on January  2012. This eight week study group will be followed by an intense four (4) week Review.  We are looking for those interested in pursuing their CPP Certification. The cost of the online Study Group will be $35 per person for use of gotomeetings.com+ the CPP Study Guide if you would like it ($50.00 vs. $104.00 from the Bookstore).

 

The Study Group will be hosted online Tuesday's 4PM - 6PM, Tuesday's content will be recorded for replay on Thursday's at noon. The first week we will host an open call to divide group into study groups. These groups will be assigned different domains to review. They will then present their overview to the group. Individual Study groups will meet by conference call, to discuss material assignments. Each study group will elect a group leader and be assigned a CPP mentor.

 

We plan on using www.gotomeetings.com as it allows for playback.  We have CPP Study Guide books available for purchase at $50 each ($104 from ASIS Bookstore). Additionally if you have the opportunity to purchase The Complete Guide for CPP Examination Preparation – James P. Muuss, CPP & David Rabern, CPP I suggest you do so. It can be found on Amazon – link provided below.

Great resource and the only one I used for preparation when I took the exam.
